From MSN item about expected 2012 music releases

    Rush, "Clockwork Angels"

As Rush are a musical religion that doesn't evangelize, there's no point in this writer singing their praises to the crossed arms and rolled eyes of the haters. But to those of us who worship at their melodic math-rock altar, "Clockwork Angels" is one of the most anticipated releases of the year. Due out in March, this, the band's 19th studio album, has been in process for close to three years. In fact, the first single, "Caravan," was released way back in June 2010. When it drops, look for a rush to the record store (no pun intended).

Definitely. I can never get enough of live Rush.  Although based on the naysayers over on Counterparts, the new album is going to be trash, crap, etc...

I don't get that.  I am open minded to all Rush music.  It might not be Moving Pictures quality, but I am sure there are songs and parts of songs that will be great!  Can't wait to hear it!1 Although we have already heard 2 songs, and I enjoyed seeing them both played live.  I just hope we will still be talking about new albums in a couple years or so.

You'd be labeled a fanboi over there. Idk; I take Rush with as much salt as any other artist - some stuff is going to be gem-like, other tunes will be skipped-over filler. I just appreciate getting new music for this long rather than depending on a static catalogue.

Isn't that what I kinda said?  I will listen and give it ALL songs a chance, knowing I will probably like some of the songs or part of songs better than others.
I don't care what they think "over there", that place is fucked, that is why I am here!
Not at all representive of any Rush fans I know around here.

-Lets get wasted and go to the Rush show and miss all the action talking to your buddy, or waiting in beer lines and missing most of it!-

Was hoping it would take a little longer, more great stuff to happen if more time is applied to the process, maybe? But hey if they think it's ready for the world to hear, I'll be buying it. :D And following the tour again of course. Although I like Neil's comment in his latest news update about the songs having complicated arrangements, different beats, bars, and odd time signatures; "maybe worse—or better, depending"

I think its going too be some good stuff if Neil Peart is Drumming and Alex Lifeson is on the guitar and Geddy Lee is singing and of course Bass playing.   I am excited too hear this new Album and also see the new tour Live and I will be proud too see them up there doing what they do best.
