    So he died while shooting Rush in LA wow,but wtf is Rush doin in LA? There not touring right now and they usually record in Canada of the northeast US around NY

    Maybe Neil asked them to stay close to his home so found a place to practice out there.

    Very, very sad news. I think I might have corresponded with him via e-mail when I bought a print way back when.


    But, man this was tough for me to even hear even though I'm just a fan who admired his work. I swear I was practically in tears reading Neil's tribute. Part of it is he appeared to be a pretty healthy looking person and then...one day...it happens just like that in his 40s. I mean...anyone can drop dead at any time for any reason...but I'm still shocked he did from looking at him. Maybe he had a genetic disposition that contributed to a higher probability that he could have one? It's freaking scary is what it is. His name was so synonomous with Rush that he was almost like a part of the band itself. You hear his name...you think of Rush. At least he had a photoshoot the day before...cause those pics will be treasured I'm sure by Rush and fans alike I'm sure.


    RIP Andrew. You were a fan like the rest of us who became the band photographer...and then we were a fan of you and the band. It won't be the same without you.
